Applies to hardware version HW v3.8
Compared to version 3.0, version 3.8 has a faster processor with a 108MHz clock, more RAM and flash memory.
The INPA1-2 analog inputs have an extended voltage range up to 5V/55V. This allows you to work with a more sensitive measuring range also for sensors whose signal reaches 5V.
The battery connector, supporting the power supply of registers, will allow to implement the RTC clock and remember the status of outputs before the power reset (planned option).
The most important change is the addition of transmission encryption support. Thanks to this, you can use https, mqtts SNMPv3 connections and use e-mail servers that require outgoing e-mail authentication, e.g. Gmail.
