AP6 - Wi-Fi 6 Access Point
The AP6 access point from Alta Labs features compact form factor, aesthetic design and allowing seamless integration into corporate, commercial, and residential environments.
The AP6 is powered over Ethernet for simple, clean installation and individual features such as reliable roaming handled via 802.11r/k/v standards, multiple password authentication at the same SSID for separating networks based on passwords or content blocking using a DPI engine that does not require any additional hardware and does not reduce the throughput of the Access Point.
Multi-Password Authentication An innovative approach to separating networks by using different WiFi passwords instead of creating virtual SSIDs allows you to increase network throughput. Each password can be associated with a specific speed limit, VLAN, time scheduler calendar or hotspot.
Deep Packet Inspection Engine Content blocking by application, choosing from an extensive predefined list including possible blocking by domain and all this without reducing throughput and the need to acquire additional HW.
